How It Started

Jake Abramson set course in a direction most don’t go. With music being at the center of his whole life, Jake graduated traditional school and went to ICON Collective Music College in LA. After ICON, Jake worked in multiple studios in LA only to find it is not what he thought it would be. He felt that the music just became a dollar sign or a product on a conveyer belt. Jake made a bold decision to leave a great opportunity to start a different type of experience. He found when he searched online he found most engineers were posting prices before ever hearing the song. As an engineer who has dedicated over half of his life to music, this was wildly frustrating. He wanted to change that because every song is unique and needs individual attention. With a hybrid of Analog and Digital gear, Jake took all of his experience and frustration and TREATED SOUND was born. Jake has a wide range of production and genre capability. While Rock and Metal have a soft spot in his heart, Jake loves the creativity and Vocal Production in Pop & EDM as well. NO song ever leaves our studios without being hand tuned and mixed by Jake.
